Tecpan de Galeana is a municipio on the coast of Guerrero, bordered to the west by the municipio of Petatlán, to the south by Benito Juárez and Atoyac de Alvarez, and to the north by Ajuchitlán del Progreso. It's principal towns are Tecpan and Papanoa.
