Sant Mat, which translated means "the Holy Path", is inherently a practical path, whose goal is to enable seekers to realize themselves as soul and to find God. A fundamental aspect of this path is regular meditation on inner Light and Sound, also known as Surat Shabd Yoga. The best-known living Master of Sant Mat/Surat Shabd is Sant Thakar Singh.
