Martin Luther believed that the Bible should be available in the language of the people. He undertook the first comprehensive translation into the German language. This was the impetus for translations by other reformers, particularly into the English language. These sites involve studying the Scriptures from a Lutheran perspective, Bibles published by Lutheran organizations, and information on obtaining copies through Lutheran sources. This category may also include articles about the Bible and Bible translation by Lutherans.
