The Episcopal Church in Jerusalem & the Middle East is an autonomous church, and a province within the Anglican Communion. This Anglican province consists of four dioceses: the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf; the Diocese of Eqypt; the Diocese of Iran, and the Diocese of Jerusalem. The province was formed in 1976 from the former Jerusalem Archbishopric.
