Miles (Myles) Coverdale (1488-1569). English Bible translator and Bishop of Exeter Cathedral (1551-1553). Completed the work of William Tyndale by publishing the first translation of entire Bible including the Apocrypha into English in 1535. Authored "Letters of the Martyrs," an important source utilized by John Foxe's "Book of Martyrs."
