Jury duty is an important part of a citizen's relationship with society, and is the means by which a citizen actively participates in the legal system. Most jurors, even those who detest the notion of serving, find that they enjoy their service and make friends with other jurors. This category includes information relating to jury duty, including arguments for "jury nullification" (where a jury acquits a defendant charged under a law they find to be "unjust"), and jury reforms, such as allowing jurors to take notes or to discuss the case they are deciding prior to its conclusions.
