Logan Circle (originally Iowa Circle), named after Civil War General and Democratic Senator John A. Logan, lies northeast of downtown Washington at the intersection of Vermont Avenue, Rhode Island Avenue, and P Street at 13th Street, N.W. Known for its Victorian townhouses, the gentrifying neighborhood radiates approximately two blocks out from the circle.
