Waltham is a town located in Addison County, Vermont. chartered in 1761 by Governor Wentworth, of New Hampshire, in common with New Haven, of which it was formerly a part. The name of Waltham was suggested as a proper one for the new town by Phinehas Brown, who came from Waltham, Massachusetts.
