Grafton County is located in the northwestern part of the state. The county seat is North Haverhill.
The population in 2000 was 81,740. The largest towns are Lebanon, Hanover, and Plymouth.
Grafton is bordered by Coos County to the north, Carroll and Belknap Counties to the east, Sullivan and Merrimack Counties to the south, and the State of Vermont to the west.
