A village in central Dawes County, which is located in the Nebraska Panhandle. Whitney is an incorporated village whose present population is 70 folk. Though small, the community boasts five blocks of paved, well lighted streets, plenty of good water and other municipal services. Most of its working inhabitants commute to nearby communities.
