Ashburnham is a town in Worcester County, Massachusetts. The town was first settled in 1736, and was officially incorporated in 1765.
The town of Ashburnham is a quintessential New England community. Just 55 miles northwest of Boston, Ashburnham was a renowned furniture manufacturing hub in the 19th-century. Today, we are an historic residential community, and home to the prestigious preparatory school, Cushing Academy.
