St. Simons is located halfway between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida and is only a few minutes drive from Interstate 95. Set among ancient live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss, St. Simons Island is unique for many reasons. It not only offers beautiful beaches, but a charming village. The village at the island's southern tip, includes a 200 year old working lighthouse,coastal history museum, and a fishing pier.
