Bozrah [New London County] was incorporated from Norwich in 1786 and given its name for the Hebrew word for "enclosure". Its former name is New Concord.
Area, 20.2 sq. miles. Population, est., 2,296. Voting districts, 1. Principal industries, agriculture, cement mixing, manufacturing of plastics, sporting equipment, insulation, small tools, padding goods, Air Separation plant.
Bozrah includes the area known as Gilman.
