Anniston, Alabama is the county seat of Calhoun County. The city is situated in a valley of the Appalachian foothills and is the commercial and industrial center of Calhoun County. The city has many historical landmarks to explore and is the home of the Anniston Museum of Natural History, the Berman Museum of World History, and the Centennial Memorial Park. This category is basically the city limits of Anniston. It includes the Fort McClellan site but not necessarily the redevelopment authority. It could include Golden Springs, Blue Mountain, and DeArmanville.
