The Niagara Peninsula now boasts more than a score of wineries, many of them established only within the last ten years. The concentration, however, is in the immediate area surrounding Niagara-on-the-Lake. Most of them have their own websites, and all of them play willing hosts to the town's visitors. Other wineries are situated among the vineyards and communities that lie west of St.Catharines. Where they have sites of their own -- and this applies in most cases -- they are indexed in the main Regions/Niagara/Business_and_Economy category.
