Meat Cove is located in Inverness County at the northern tip of Cape Breton Island, on Cape St Lawrence, off St Lawrence Bay. Off the Cabot Trail at Cape North and 8 kilometres north along the gravel road. At just north of 47 degrees North latitude, Meat Cove has the distinction of being the northern-most point in Nova Scotia.
