Pulborough is a large village with a population of about 5000. It is located a few miles north of the South Downs and lies at the junction of the River Arun and the river Rother. Pulborough has glorious views across the river flood plain, a haven for wild life, with the South Downs in the background, and an attractive surrounding countryside. It has a main line railway station and two small industrial areas. Pulborough Parish includes the hamlets of Codmore Hill, North Heath and Nutbourne, and is within the Horsham District. It's closest neighbouring villages are Billingshurst, Storrington, Petworth and West Chiltington.
