Great Tosson is a picturesque hamlet with its own Pele Tower - A fortified structure used as a defensive structures to repel the ruthless bands of outlaws known as the Border Reivers. Great Tosson is situated only two miles from the pretty village of Rothbury, "The Capital of Coquetdale" and situated on the very edge of the great Northumberland National Park.
