Falmouth, population about 20000, is a port on the south coast of Cornwall, England. Together with Carrick Roads it forms the third largest natural harbour in the world. Pendennis Castle is located in Falmouth. It was constructed between 1539 and 1564 by King Henry VIII as a defence against the French.
