Postdoctoral fellowships are for those who hold a doctoral degree or, in some cases, for those who have achieved doctoral candidacy. They are meant to provide individuals with additional research and/or clinical experience directly after graduate school. The fellowships are competitive and usually include a stipend award. Note that these fellowships may carry another position title, such as research associate or clinical research associate.
