Illinois State University's College of Education has the following departments with degree prgrams in teacher education: curriculum and instruction, educational administration and foundations, and special education. The College of Education is home to the laboratory schools Thomas Metcalf School and University High School. In addition, the College of Education also has many units, organizations and committees to further education.
