The Faculty of Science and Technology received its present name in 1993, when it was renamed from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. It consists of approximately 20 departments organized in six divisions: Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics, Technology, Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Sciences.
