The American Bandogge, a recent guardian breed, is a cross between an American Pit Bull Terrier and a Neapolitan Mastiff.

These short-coated muscular dogs stand 22-25" tall and weigh 85-100 pounds. They are confident, faithful, and very suspicious of strangers.
