Aquilegia is a genus of mostly short-lived perennials. Most of its species, hybrids, and cultivars are commonly known as columbines, and many of them are commonly used in gardens. They range from dwarf, rock-garden types to tall plants suitable for the border. This category collects informational sites about plants in this genus, and the closely related genus Semiaquilegia (spurless columbine).
