Virtual On Cybertroopers is a series of mecha fighting arcade games created by Sega and Hitmaker.
The first version, Cybertroopers Virtual On Operation Moongate (VOOM), was introduced in 1995 and quickly achieved cult status around the world.
Its sequel, Cybertroopers Virtual On Oratorio Tangram (VOOT) was released in 1998 and was an instant hit in Japan, though relatively few machines were exported overseas.
The third installment of the series is Cybertroopers Virtual On 4 Force (VOF) which was a four player version released in 2001, and currently exists only in Japan.
VOOM has been ported to both PC and Sega Saturn, while VOOT is available on Dreamcast. There are no known plans to port VOF to a console.
