BioWare is an Electronic Entertainment company based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Our experience ranges from the development of videogames to creation of animation for television and film.

BioWare is a privately owned Canadian corporation with a single office, housing over seventy employees, situated in Edmonton.

BioWare has developed Shattered Steel, Baldur's Gate, Tales of the Sword Coast, and is developing Baldur's Gate II, MDK2, and Neverwinter Nights. currently. We developed the BioWare Infinity Engine which we have also licensed to our publisher, Black Isle/Interplay for use in two of their internally developed titles.
