Born Natalia Nikolaevna Zakharenko in 1938, Natalie Wood appeared in her first film in 1943. She went on to play a featured role in 1947's "Miracle on 34th Street", opposite James Dean in 1955's "Rebel Without a Cause", and in 1961, she played the role of Maria in "West Side Story".
