Paul Edward Valentine Giamatti (*1967 in New York) is an American-Italian actor. He majored in English and received MA degree in Fine Arts from Yale University. Since school he has been acting on stage. He made his film debut 1990 with TV film "She'll Take Romance". His best known parts in cinema and TV include Sgt. William Hill in "Saving Private Ryan" (1998), and Todd Woods in "Duets" (2000).
