William Bradley "Brad" Pitt was born 18 December 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and raised in Springfield, Missouri. He is an Academy Award-nominated actor.

He is co-founder of the film-production company Plan B. Pitt has used his celebrity to campaign for assistance to Africa, and he is a marquee spokesman for the ONE Campaign.

Brad Pitt was married to actress Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005. He is currently in a committed relationship with actress Angelina Jolie. They have two adopted children, a son and daughter. Jolie and Pitt are also the parents of a third child, a daughter, born to them 27 May 2006.
