Best known for the series of "stoner" movies made in collaboration with Cheech Marin - including "Up in Smoke" (1978), "Still Smokin'" (1983) and "The Corsican Brothers" (1984), Chong has also appeared in a variety of television programs including "Golden Palace" and "The 70's Show", and he both directed and starred in the 1990 film "Far Out Man". He was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 24th May 1938.
