Actor and comedian Steve Carell has been toiling in clubs and comedy shows for years but is just coming into his own. First noticed as part of the Comedy Central series "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Carell has worked on the television series "Watching Ellie" with Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and stars in "The Office." In films he has had notable supporting roles in "Bruce Almighty," "Anchorman" and "Bewitched." He became a star in his own right when he co-wrote and starred in the breakout comedy "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" in the summer of 2005.
