Julius K. Styne (1905-1994) made his mark on Broadway, with scores for many shows including Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Gypsy, and Funny Girl, and collaborated with Sammy Cahn to write film and album songs for Frank Sinatra during the 1940's when many other stars had hits with their songs as well.
