Harold Truscott (1914-1992) was pianist, composer, music teacher, and author. He wrote books on Beethoven and Franz Schmidt's works, completed Schubert piano compositions, lectured at Huddersfield College, and composed various instrumental and vocal works. His other abilities outshone his compositional talents until his last few years and then posthumously, when many of his works finally received wide acceptance.
