Englishman Leonard Charles Trebilco (1924-) was a BBC engineer, a musician, and a member of the Royal Air Force during and after World War Two. Gifted with natural talent, he also studied various instruments at a young age. His compositional skills are largely those learned on his own, often by-products of his engineering work for musicians on the radio. He assumed the pseudonym Trevor Duncan because of BBC rules against its employees having their music broadcast. His most recognized work may not be strictly a concert piece but the music from the 1958 science fiction movie Plan Nine from Outer Space.
