Dutch-born Belgian composer Frédéric Devreese (1929-), the son of composer Godfried Devreese, has written stage, orchestral, chamber, choral, and piano works but may be best known for his film scores and his conducting. Among his other works are the operas Willem van Saefthingen (TV) and Le Cavalier bizarre and the award-winning Piano Concerto No. 1 and Piano Concerto No. 4.
