English Renaissance composer John Bennet (c. 1570-c. 1614) composed a number of madrigals. His death date invites much speculation, but he probably survived until at least the publication of several songs in 1614. His All Creatures Now Are Merry Minded is in a collection of madrigals by 24 composers called The Triumphs of Oriana, created in 1601 by Thomas Morley in honor of Elizabeth I.
