Russian Romantic period composer Anton Stepanovich Arensky (1861-1906) was a student of Rimsky-Korsakov. He was a teacher, conductor of the Imperial Chapel Choir, and wrote wrote operas, a ballet, chamber and orchestral pieces, piano works, and songs.
