Formed by two ex-members of the progressive rock act Nucleus, A Foot in Cold Water had a couple of hit records between 1971 and 1974. The success was short-lived and the band's members parted ways in 1977 to pursue solo careers. Members included: Alex Machin (vocals) Hughie Leggat (bass, acoustic guitar, vocals) Paul Naumann (guitar, vocals) Bob Horne (keyboards) Danny Taylor (drums, percussion)
