Singer Dion DiMucci first hit the charts in 1958 with a backup doo wop group called the Belmonts. Dion also had a successful solo career as a pioneering rock singer, and a brief comeback with the folk-tinged "Abraham, Martin, and John." In the eighties, he recorded several gospel albums. He still tours today, playing and singing songs from all phases of his long career.
