Everest is an IMAX film produced by MacGillivray Freeman Films about the 1996 ascent of Mount Everest days after a tragic expedition.
The documentary was written by Tim Cahill and Stephen Judson and directed by David Breashears, Judson, and Greg MacGillivray. Liam Neeson narrates as the film follows an international team of climbers, including Beck Weathers and Jamling Tenzing Norgay, as they ascend to the summit and return to base camp.
