American Kenpo, also called Ed Parker's American Kenpo, was developed and designed by Edmund K. Parker. American Kenpo is one of the largest Kenpo systems being taught today. Some teach the system as it was taught before Ed Parker's passing in 1990. Other's have added and modified the system. Either case, it is referred to as American Kenpo.
