A uniformed Anglican youth organisation, founded in 1891, offering fun and fellowship for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 21. Headquarters at Wath-upon-Dearne in South Yorkshire, England, the Church Lads' and Church Girls' Brigade is parish-based throughout England, Northern Ireland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland. It also has overseas units in Newfoundland (Canada), Barbados, Bermuda, Saint Helena, South Africa and Kenya.
