'80s BBC sitcom set in occupied France. Plot revolves around the activities of a cafe owner, Rene, and his interactions with the Wehrmacht, Gestapo, the Resistance and various pulchritudinous women.

Written by David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd. Starring Gordon Kaye, Carmen Silvera, Kirsten Cooke and Viki Michelle.

First broadcast on BBC 1 in December 1982.
