Nice

The fifth largest french town, Nice lies on the Mediterranean coastline known as the Cote d'Azur or the French Riviera. Situated only 16 miles west of the Italian border, 127 miles east of the city of Marseille and 580 miles south of the capital of Paris.

The towns land area covers 71,92 km². According to the 2005 census, more than 347 thousand people live here. Geographic coordinates are 43°42'10'' North by 7°16'09'' East.
