Salome's Last Dance - UK (1988), directed by Ken Russell, and based on the play by Oscar Wilde and translated from the French by Vivian Russell. Late on Guy Fawkes Day, 1892, Oscar Wilde (Nickolas Grace) arrives at a high-class brothel where a surprise awaits - the brothel keeper (Stratford Johns) is staging his play "Salome," with parts played by prostitutes.
